Working alongside Irving Smith Architects, this project was focused on low carbon and mass timber construction. Although in steel – screw piles were used for speed and eliminating treated timber in the ground. LVL portal frames were originally designed with central posts – then on client request went to clear span structure. The end result is a light open building predominantly constructed in timber.
