A design and build contract for Gibbons Property, this was a great project to be involved in. A very tight time frame for delivery of building consent documents after receipt of briefing documents from the tenant made for a dynamic and at times challenging process to get through. This design program was well led by Andrew Irving at Irving Smith Architects and additional input from Gibbons Naylor with ECI (Early Contractor Involvement). With tenant requirement for Green Star Building, careful selection of materials and construction sequences was required to meet the stringent requirement of Green Star.
