Garin College Shade Structure

Working alongside Gerard at Create Architects and a tight budget, the brief was for a simple cost effective shade structure that enhanced the cultural requirement for shelter. A simple pole support system combined with structural steel for strength offer an open easy to use space for the school. In collaborations with the Trinder Engineering as well, careful consideration for the Maihi design in folded aluminium sheet wrapped around a structural steel support frame provides a stunning feature at the entrance to the structure.
